Good beer, very friendly staff. Food was good value for money
I've given 2 stars because from past experience (about 1 year and a half ago) the food here used to be amazing couldn't fault it, loved the hot dog and burger menu. If it wasent for that past experience I would only be giving 1 star. We moved away from langley mill and today thought it would be nice to revisit our old stomping grounds. The food was very poor southern fried chicken was inedible, rock hard had obviously been nuked. And the popadoms tasted like off milk. Really disappointing as we really used to enjoy it here. The service is great (but slow) and the staff are lovely. Maybe it was just an off day but we unfortunately won't be returning.
This pub /restaurant is so friendly. The food is tip top and the chef will cater for all your want/needs. Dez and his lovely wife are so welcoming . We have never had a bad meal!!

Popped in for a drink in a real pub, such a fantastic welcome by Kirsty, sat herself down and talked about the pub and menu. Soon became busy, what a find and we went back next day for a meal. Meat and potato pie, home made, delicious, oodles of gravy and not only did KIrsty check whether it was ok but the chef also checked. What find and would positively return if in the area and recommend to friends.
