Would recommend this hotel. Rooms were furnished nicely, lovely and clean and maintained well. The hotel has lots of amenities to keep you busy. We enjoyed a full English breakfast each morning with plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and helpful.
What can i say stayed here before manager name of Danny noticed us from our previous stay he said that the restaurant will look after us served by Ben who was so good at his job not to mentioned the chef who cooked the perfect steak and we received the VIP treatment. If i could give more than 5stars i would and would highly recommend this hotel thankyou guys for a great night. See you in the near future.
A quiet location which I attended for a conference. Some issues with lunch time food but otherwise food was fine. Location served all our needs but was along way to travel.
Excellent, my sister and I had a really lovely relaxed overnight stay. Our greeting on reception was very welcoming, the evening meal was delicious with very friendly staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the spa and gym facilities were good. We will definitely return.
Maybe it was just a one off. The TV in the room had a poor signal on all it's 5 or so channels. The phone didn't work, the mattress needed replacing. The restaurant menu was unimaginative, the burger was cheap quality and tasteless, my pie was okay. The staff are good. I was not permitted to put a bar round on my Room (I had a key) which caught me out. The bar spirits selection was boring ( no sloe gin, no bitter lemon...). It's a conference venue, not a romantic getaway. Now I know. Pity.
