Went there once, not been back, the experience was forgettable!!Never any ques in this chippy, rarely people.
Popped in just as they were closing. They made us fresh orders and let us sit in to eat even though they had closed as we walked in. It was raining and they bought out a heater for us to dry off. I cannot give any higher praise for their service. Prices are great value and knowing they offer delivery will make us regular customers!
Like most residents of Eastwood, we have seen the comings and goings at this chip shop. Some of them are best gone , never to return. HOWEVER, the new owners are great, the food has taken a real leap forward. The place looks clean and well taken care of, Ed, the new owner is affable and professional. I also like the traceability of my food, which is clearly displayed. I hope that the locals get behind Ed, as our high street has become a very sad place recently and the food venues have been lack lustre and unimaginative. From what I have heard from other local friends, they too are liking this new owner. I wish them every success, and hope we manage to keep them here on our high street.
First visit since New owners.We had 2x fish and chips sl apped together 1 curry. Peas 1 chicken kebab. Peas were half full and cold curry cold and like water. Pitta looked like Edward scissor hand had had a go at it, Very small amount of chicken considering the price, A Chicken sandwich from Greg's looks more appealing 1point for the chips though
